The INI Postgraduate Program in Clinical Research of Infectious Diseases focuses on a single area “Infectious Diseases” wit research lines that comprehend the interdisciplinary perspective of the investigation process:
Research Lines (during the four years from 2013 to 2016):
- - Technological Evaluation of Health.
- - Parasitic Diseases in humans and animals: taxonomy, eco-epidemiology, control technologies, diagnosis, clinic and treatment, focusing on parasites of the Leishmania, Toxoplasma and Trypanossoma genders.
- - STD, HIV/AIDS and coinfections
- - Immunopathology and infection therapy in critical patients: Dengue fever, sepsis and patients with HIV.
- - Innovation, regulation and biosafety of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.
- - Cardiologic Manifestations of the Chagas Disease and other infectious diseases: diagnosis, clinical and therapy.
- - Dermatological manifestations of infectious diseases.
- - Neurological manifestations of infectious diseases.
- - Ear, nose and throat manifestations of infectious diseases: diagnosis, clinical and therapy.
- - Mycosis in humans and animals: Eco-epidemiology, clinical, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment.
