Vision

The Program presents a comprehensive, interdisciplinary and multi-professional proposal for clinical research of infectious diseases, striving for excellence in science, technology and innovation. The purpose is to develop a full vision of clinical research, through multidisciplinary study of Viral, Bacterial, Parasitic and Fungal Diseases, especially HIV/AIDS, HTLV and their clinical manifestations, Mycobacteriosis, Chagas Disease, Leishmaniosis and Systemic Mycosis. Through this perspective it intends to solve challenging scientific problems related to appearance, evolution and strategies to fight, prevent and control infectious diseases, through research lines and supported by international and national collaborative research networks.
